At present, there are 392 Ajisen Ramen restaurants in China (including restaurants in Hong Kong) with an average cost of 36-37 yuan/person. Since its first entering in Xiamen, the restaurant has been well accepted by Xiamen people and has now opened 6 Ajisen Ramen restaurants.

"Our original brand, Ajisen Ramen, serves the middle income market. Leveraging on the Group’s expertise in developing Japanese-style soup base and cuisine. So we have now created Wakayama, a new brand that targets the high income group and high-end market.” said Ms. Poon Wai, Chairwoman and CEO of Ajisen (China) Holdings Limited.

"We believe that the launch of Wakayama will enhance the Group’s brand and product mix. What’s more, by capitalizing on our extensive experiences and strong technical know-how in the Japanese ramen industry, Wakayama will help Ajisen (China) expand its customer base and market share.” Ms. Poon Wai added.
