Yuncheng Salt Lake

Covering an area of 132 square kilometers, Yuncheng Salt Lake is located in the Jinnan Basin in Shanxi Province. It was formed in the Quaternary Period of the Cenozoic Era. Enormous quantities of saline mineral substances gathered in the area after the geological features were modified.

The black mud on the bed of Yuncheng Salt Lake contains seven kinds of major elements and sixteen kinds of minor elements. The black mud can renew and beautify the skin. Therefore, it is praised as the "China Dead Sea".

Daying Dead Sea

Located in Suining city, Sichuan Province, the Daying Dead Sea is of the same latitude as the Dead Sea in Middle East. The water is from 3,000 meters underground and the salt content is 22 percent.

Daying Dead Sea Scenic Area is a gardening landscape with unique Middle Eastern style. The water contains more than 40 chemical elements and mineral substances, which are very healthy.

There are many other special services, such as the Black Mud Bathing and salt SPA. All of them will make you fully relaxed.

Shouguang Oriental Salt Lake

Located to the west of the Lotus Garden in Shouguang city in Shandong Province, the Oriental Salt Lake is one of the typical scenic sights in Shouguang Linhai Eco Expo Park. Originally, the park was salinate fields. After constant improvement, it has been developed into a wetland park combining salinate fields sightseeing, leisure and entertainment.

The salt lake covers an area of 5,000 square meters in the garden. The magical glamour of the Dead Sea can be experienced without the need to go abroad. Due to the high salt content (as high as 18 percent), rich mineral substances and trace elements, the lake has magical curative effects to skin diseases, obesity and arthritis.

Tips: It is not good to stay too long in water. Forty minutes is suitable. Visitors who have heart diseases or frail health are suggested not to get wet. Seniors and children should be accompanied and swim in the shallow water area.
