According to traditional Chinese medicine, different
people present different physical types such as dry heat and deficient cold.
When we talk about tea, it is divided into "cool" and "mild" types according to
different manufacture process. Therefore, different people may need to choose
differently when it comes to tea drinking. Those of the dry heat type should
drink "cool" tea, while those of the other type should drink “mild” tea.
Expert Recommendation: Those people who smoke, drink
alcohol, tend to suffer from excessive internal heat, or have a plump shape
(i.e. those of the dry heat type) should drink "cool" tea; while those suffer
from deficient cold in stomach, or feel abdominal distention after eating balsam
pear or watermelon, or those of weak health should drink moderate or mild tea.
Black tea and Puerh tea are better choices for people of old age.
