Ballet West's The Nutcracker will open at Poly Theatre on June 3 for two nights of dance, music and fantasy.

Created to mark Ballet West's 10th anniversary in 2002, their version of The Nutcracker is marked by its distinctive modern style with vivid and faster-paced dance, as well as all bright costuming and stage design.

Based in Scotland, Ballet West has taken The Nutcracker to Germany, France and Australia, receiving wide acclaim.
