Guiyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time, all-around and open institute which was approved by the Government of Guizhou province, registered by the National Ministry of education filling, sponsored by Guiyang municipal People's Governemt. The college covers an area of 102 acres and almost the half is the building area. The college has a library, halls, academic buildings, office buildings, training centers and other facilities for sports activities. The college has three branches, "Rail Transport", "Phosphorus Coal Chemical Industry", and "Equipment Manufacturing", 2 vocational education groups and seven departments .
